Farm Urban at
St Margaret's Centre and Playing Fields is a vibrant community space. A registered charity and home to Maine Road FC, the site is a hub for community life in the area.
In partnership with The Orchard Project, there are regular volunteer sessions to learn about and continue planting up the site’s forest garden around the fruit trees. The centre is available to hire for groups and events, and hosts Chorlton's popular Repair Café on the second Saturday of every month.
As well as hosting Manchester Urban Diggers, St Margaret's also hosts one of Farm Urban's Edible Walls.

Healthy Me Healthy Communities (HMHC) is your local community hub in Gorton, based at Gorton Central on Highmead Street. Whether you're looking to meet new people, learn new skills, get support, or simply have a cuppa in a friendly space — there's something here for everyone. HMHC is part of Farm Urban Manchester, hosting an Edible Wall.
Volunteers at HMHC have already been trained to grow food using the Edible Wall, and we are always looking for more volunteers to join our team! Or if you would like to have a go at growing hydroponically at home or another site, you would be welcome to come and train at HMHC.

Nestled inside The Lowry arts centre on the banks of Salford Quays, the restaurant serves modern British dishes made with seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, with menus that change throughout the year to keep things fresh. As part of their commitment to sustainable food systems, The Lowry restaurant hosts one of Farm Urban's Edible Walls.

Sister is Manchester's new innovation district, based in the recently transformed Renold Building on Sackville Street — and it's not just for start-ups and scientists. Since opening, the Renold Innovation Hub has hosted a range of community events and provides free access to a community café space for anyone to drop in and work from.
Sister is part of Farm Urban Manchester, with its Edible Wall providing food for the Sustainable Ventures cafe.
