Feasibility Study

Farm Urban brings 10 years of experience in researching, developing, testing and implementing a range of urban farms. We have developed a deep understanding of the requirements to achieve viability and +ve ROI including associated risks, technical specifications, capital and revenue required, along with complex stakeholder engagement. This experience has equipped us with the theoretical and practical knowledge to conduct comprehensive feasibility studies.

Previous feasibility studies have analysed the benefits and potential risks linked to Urban Farms and were used to assess the viability of various schemes by:

Providing an overview of different vertical farming technologies and their suitability within particular projects.

Assessing which crops would be suitable for cultivation, and quantifying potential outputs and yields.

Determining market viability through testing local demand and via links with the local hospitality sector.

Providing a breakdown of potential activity streams within the project, and assessment of their profitability ESG and BNG potential.

Selection of Feasibility Studies carried out to date

Greens for Good Farm:
We conducted our own proof-of-concept study to evidence the viability of the Farm and reassure investors. This allowed us to raise the investment to fund our flagship farm in Liverpool, which continues to thrive under the Greens for Good model since its installation in 2019.

“The comprehensive proof of concept study Farm Urban undertook evidenced the viability of their urban farm and significantly de-risked our Investment”
