This summer Farm Urban are uncovering the next generation of scientists, entrepreneurs and leaders with our School for Eco-Entrepreneurs.
We want you to join us on our eco-entrepreneurial journey. Together with our team of university and business experts, we want to uncover your spark and ignite it!
Ideal for 13 – 15 year olds (years 8 & 9), our immersive summer schools will present you with the real-world problem of food security and challenge you in teams to form your own startups and compete to find innovative and creative solutions using the exciting and rapidly evolving science and technology of aquaponics.
Join our bio-scientists, engineers and business leaders in the heart of Liverpool to research, design and build your own aquaponics system, develop a business canvas, brand and financial plan.
Put your startup and system to the test in a dragons den style pitching competition where each team will present their product and business case to our judging panel.
Along the way you will:
- Participate in masterclasses from world leading scientists, leaders and entrepreneurs
- Visit urban farming projects in the city
- Balance work with play, with the chance to move and be mindful in a daily capoeira class.
